Maintenance Tech full-time (Downtown Oahu) JH

Hawaiian Building Maintenance has been providing quality service since 1957. We are one of the largest facility service providers in the State of Hawaii. We currently perform Janitorial Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC and Maintenance Services for numerous commercial, retail and residential properties on Oahu, Kauai, Maui and Big Island. We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Tech position to repair and maintain residential and commercial building in Downtown Oahu. Candidates must have a valid driver license, reliable vehicle, previous hands-on maintenance experience, light plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and painting experience is required. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs (painting, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and grounds maintenance)
• Able to access a small space of 18 inch x 18 inch
• Excellent customer service skills to interact with property managers, vendors, customers, etc.
• Able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 30lbs up to 50lbs. Walk, stand for a period of time and bend throughout the shift.
• Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary.
• Create and maintain work orders
• Create and maintain purchase orders
• Perform any additional maintenance related duties as required by property management.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (40 hours a week)

Compensation range: $23 to $25/per hour
