The Fairway Inn & Suites, formerly known as Par 5 Resort, is now under new owners and new management and we are excited to add new team members to the resort! This property offers guests offers breathtaking views, picturesque fairways and a unique location in Mishicot, WI., which is just 35 minutes away from Green Bay.

We are currently accepting applications and resumes for a Housekeeping Supervisor. This position is based on the occupancy of the hotel and is considered a "hands-on" working supervisor role where there will be times when the supervisor is expected to assist with cleaning guest rooms, public spaces, and inspecting rooms. Idea candidates will have prior leadership experience in a hospitality role, preferably in housekeeping or guest services, the ability to lead and develop team members around them, ability to use technology to communicate with team members, and the availability to work as the business may demand (most shifts will be between the hours of 8am and 5pm, including weekends and holidays).

Some responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Check public areas, guest rooms/suites, equipment, linens are clean and in good repair advise team members of areas of improvements
  • Perform housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds as well as vacuuming and cleaning guest suites to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Handle complaints and special requests to achieve complete guest satisfaction
  • Comply with special needs and requests of the guests
  • Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work and establish performance and development goals for employees.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve employee performance
  • Educate and train all employees in compliance with governmental and safety regulations.
  • Ensure staff is properly trained and has the tools and equipment to carry out job duties
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other department heads
  • May assist with deep cleaning projects and/or assist housekeeping staff during high volume periods
  • Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on increased productivity
  • Maintain proper inventory levels, managing cost per room for supplies and labor (example: bed & bath linen reuse and laundry operation).
  • Maintain and order supplies and equipment in a timely and efficient manner
  • May maintain procedures for security of lost and found items
  • Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as "manager" on duty.

Physical Requirements may include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, crawl/climb, lift on a frequent basis. 
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
  • Exposure to indoor/outdoor temperatures with the location of the front desk near the main entrance.
  • Exposure to various noises and volumes with regular use of computers, telephone, printer/scanners, radios and TVs near the lobby.

Must be able to successfully pass a background check as it relates to the job responsibilities for this position.
