We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Chevrolet sales team and contribute to our continued success.


Job Summary: As the Sales Manager at Asheville Chevrolet, your role is pivotal in driving the
dealership's success by overseeing and managing our sales department. Your primary responsibilities
will include developing and implementing sales strategies, recruiting and leading the sales team,
ensuring exceptional customer service, and achieving sales targets and profitability goals.


Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategic plans to increase Chevrolet vehicle sales and profitability, including setting sales targets, pricing strategies, and promotions.
  2. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise the sales team, providing coaching and mentoring to enhance their performance and customer service skills.
  3. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by maintaining a customer-centric approach, resolving customer issues, and implementing feedback for continuous improvement.
  4. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage vehicle inventory levels, working closely with the General Manager and Finance department to optimize stock and minimize carrying costs.
  5. Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting strategies accordingly.
  6. Marketing and Advertising: Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective marketing campaigns, promotions, and advertising strategies to drive sales.
  7. Compliance: Ensure that all sales activities comply with Chevrolet and dealership standards, including pricing, documentation, and legal requirements.
  8. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Implement and maintain a robust CRM system to track leads, customer interactions, and sales opportunities.

Qualifications:

  •  Proven experience in automotive sales management, with a strong background in Chevrolet vehicles preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales management software.
  • Knowledge of Chevrolet products and the automotive industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
