We are actively hiring a Diesel Technician at our Young Truck and Trailer location in Kaysville, Utah! If you’re an experienced diesel technician—or looking to grow your career working on heavy-duty trucks and trailers—this is a great opportunity to join a high-performing, well-equipped service team!

In this role, you’ll work in a fast-paced shop environment diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and diesel-powered equipment. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of makes, models, and systems while developing your technical skills and expanding your knowledge of the diesel industry.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and trailers
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections
• Repair and maintain engines, brakes, electrical systems, and other vehicle components
• Use diagnostic tools to identify and fix vehicle issues
• Complete repairs safely and efficiently
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Work with the service team to provide quality repairs and service

Qualifications:

• Previous diesel or heavy-duty technician experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle systems
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues
• Ability to use basic tools and diagnostic equipment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team and fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• ASE certification is preferred, but not required
• Ability to pass a background check
