Automotive Parts Specialist

Description of the role:

Volvo Cars of Virginia Beach is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Auto Parts Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the key link between our customers, service department, and parts inventory—ensuring the right parts are available at the right time while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities: 

• Assist customers and technicians in identifying and purchasing the correct parts
• Manage parts orders, including special orders, returns, and warranties
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through stocking and cycle counts
• Receive and organize incoming shipments in a timely manner
• Answer phone and online inquiries regarding parts availability and pricing
• Work closely with the service team to support efficient repairs
• Keep the parts department clean, organized, and professional

Qualifications:

• Previous automotive parts experience preferred (dealership experience a plus)
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Ability to use electronic parts catalogs and computer systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable with a strong work ethic

Schedule

• • Full-time, 40–45 hour work week
  • Monday - Friday work week
