We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes full ownership of their responsibilities, and excels at managing time and priorities. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and passionate about solving problems and improving processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the A/R Process: Manage all aspects of accounts receivable, including processing customer credit requests, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, and conducting weekly collections calls.
  • Time & Task Management: Prioritize daily tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy across all invoicing and payment processes.
  • Problem Solving & Communication: Proactively resolve billing issues, collaborate with internal teams and customers, and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Ensuring alignment between Finance, Sales and Customer Service Teams for accurate billing and timely collections.
  • Customer-Focused Approach: Maintain professional and polite interactions with internal and external customers, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
  • Support A/P Functions: Assist with accounts payable processing, vendor payments, and auditing tasks under the guidance of the Accounting Manager.
  • Maintain Records: Handle all A/R and A/P filing, support year-end file organization, and contribute to inventory and audit processes.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in accounts receivable/accounts payable.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems.
  • Positive, professional attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Clean background and ability to pass drug/alcohol screening.
