Duties:
- The Woodlands of DeWitt is seeking an experienced Scheduling Coordinator The Scheduling Coordinator is a self-starting and passionate individual who will be focused on recruiting, screening, onboarding, engaging, and retaining the best team members for The Woodlands and its affiliated companies. The Scheduling Coordinator responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Developing and managing recruitment channels including online (Indeed, Facebook, etc.) and local recruiting networks (colleges, universities, training centers, etc.).
2. Planning and implementing hiring events and job fairs.
3. Designing and managing a recruitment and employee engagement budget to achieve the organization's goals.
4. Onboarding, including scheduling pre-employment physicals, background checks, TB tests, and orientation.
5. Creating and maintaining employee files in compliance with State of Michigan regulations for licensed Home for the Aged assisted living communities.
6. Manage employee benefit program enrollment.
7. Handle disciplinary action as needed with detailed documentation to ensure employer protection.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human resources preferred but not required. Ability to work effectively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds. Knowledge of basic Human Resource practices. Knowledge of common statues and regulations including the Fair Labor Standards Act and State and Federal Civil Rights legislation. Effective written and other communication skills. Good organizational skills. The selected candidate must successfully complete a comprehensive background check including medical clearance (TB test and physical).
