Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Dealership Accounting Administrator to support our accounting department. This role requires prior automotive dealership experience with strong knowledge of inventory accounting, deal contracts, and customer deposits. Familiarity with CDK is strongly preferred. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial records and smooth dealership operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain and reconcile vehicle inventory accounting

  • Process and audit vehicle contracts and deal paperwork

  • Track, post, and reconcile customer deposits

  • Assist with month-end closing and account reconciliations

  • Communicate with Sales and Finance departments to resolve discrepancies

  • Ensure compliance with dealership and accounting procedures

  • Support general accounting and administrative tasks as needed

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Automotive dealership accounting experience required

  • Strong understanding of inventory, contracts, and deposits

  • CDK experience preferred

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general accounting systems
