Winston Water Cooler is a plumbing supply distributor serving contractors and customers across Texas. Our branch teams rely on strong internal support to keep purchasing, quoting, and daily operations running smoothly.
The Midland branch is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented team member to support purchasing and administrative functions.
This is an entry-level, on-site role supporting purchasing and general office operations. The primary focus is quoting and placing orders with designated vendors, while also assisting with returns, defectives, and basic administrative support.
This position is ideal for someone organized, reliable, and comfortable handling detail-oriented tasks in a fast-paced branch environment.
- Prepare quotes and place purchase orders with assigned vendors
- Follow up on vendor confirmations and order status
- Process returns and defective material claims
- Communicate with vendors and internal team members regarding pricing and order updates
- Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately
- Assist with filing and basic office administrative duties
- Support daily branch operations as needed
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (email, Word, Excel)
- Ability to stay organized while handling multiple tasks
- Professional and dependable work ethic
Previous purchasing, administrative, or supply-house experience is helpful but not required.
