Our team is growing in Dallas, and we’re looking for a sharp, relationship-driven Outside Sales Rep with existing industry connections and a proven ability to generate results.
About the Role
As our Outside Sales Representative, you’ll drive new business and grow existing accounts by selling specialty plumbing parts to contractors and service-based plumbing businesses across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. You’ll be backed by a branch team that knows the inventory and a company that lets you work the way you sell best, as long as the numbers show it.
You’ll focus on high-margin, solution-oriented sales, not commodity pushing, and work closely with customers to understand their needs, source parts, and create long-term loyalty.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and grow a book of business focused on specialty and repair plumbing parts.
- Leverage existing customer relationships and generate new leads in the Dallas area.
- Call on service plumbers, contractors, and mechanical shops, as well as commercial office, hotel, and hospital building engineers with a value-first sales approach.
- Work in lockstep with the branch team to fulfill orders, track backorders, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay up to date on specialty products, discontinued models, and industry demand trends.
- Negotiate pricing and terms within established profit parameters.
- Enter and track orders using internal systems, with accurate follow-through and customer updates.
- Meet sales goals and help drive branch profitability.
What We’re Looking For
- Industry experience required, ideally in plumbing wholesale, specialty service parts, or mechanical supply.
- A strong existing customer base or book of business in the Dallas area.
- Proven sales success and comfort working on commission (or a base + commission model).
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule to maximize territory coverage and revenue.
- High sense of urgency, product curiosity, and strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to navigate a variety of vendor and manufacturer relationships.
- Working knowledge of common plumbing service/repair brands, parts, and catalog-based ordering is a plus.
Compensation
We’re flexible for the right person:
- Option A: Lower base salary + higher commission (15–25%)

Option B: Higher base salary + modest commission (negotiable)
