What You’ll Do

Greet customers warmly and professionally

Listen actively and take detailed notes—especially when emotions are high or details are unclear

Set clear expectations regarding service timelines, costs, and outcomes

Recommend services based on vehicle age, mileage, and history

Provide accurate estimates for parts and labor
-
Follow up regularly to keep customers informed during each step of the process

Proactively communicate delays, changes, or complications—always with solutions and empathy
-
Ensure invoices match the work performed and explain charges clearly to the customer

Coordinate alternate transportation (loaners, shuttles, pickup, and delivery, etc.) as needed
-
Handle pressure with grace and resolve conflicts with professionalism
What We’re Looking For

1+ year of experience in a dealership service department
-
Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager, or service consultant
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills—especially in difficult or uncertain situations
-
Ability to manage customer expectations with honesty, clarity, and tact
-
Solid knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
-
Proficiency with basic computer systems and the willingness to learn new platforms
-
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods

Positive attitude, energetic presence, and a strong desire to serve

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
