Signing Bonus- $500 after 90 days + $500 after 180 days

$52,000–$62,000 annually + benefits (based on license level and experience. Most ADTs will start at $52,000)

Are you a dedicated mental health professional with a heart for helping people in recovery? Addiction Healing Center is seeking a Clinical Counselor to provide therapy to individuals navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges.

This is an ideal opportunity for license-eligible professionals seeking meaningful clinical experience in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver individual and group counseling services to both residential and outpatient clients
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and assist with intake processes
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans using ASAM criteria
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team and participate in regular treatment meetings
• Document all sessions and treatment updates accurately and promptly in compliance with CARF and COMAR standards
• Support clients’ emotional and psychological growth with compassion, respect, and cultural humility

What We’re Looking For:

• A current or eligible Maryland license or certification, including:
• CAC-AD, CSC-AD, or ADT
• NPI and Medicaid provider number preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with substance use treatment and co-occurring disorders
• Familiarity with CARF, ASAM levels of care, and COMAR regulations (preferred)
• Commitment to ethical care, clear documentation, and professional collaboration
