Salary Range $120K-$130K/yr

Position Summary

The Clinical Systems Analyst bridges Health & Wellness operations, technology, data, and training across Watermark communities. This role optimizes clinical systems, translates care workflows into actionable insights, and develops and delivers training that drives consistent documentation, regulatory readiness, and high-quality resident care.

Partnering with Health & Wellness leadership, Operations, Quality, Risk, and IT, the Analyst ensures data accuracy, system adoption, and effective use of information in Assisted Living and Memory Care environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

Systems, Data & Workflow Optimization

  • Serve as subject-matter expert for Health & Wellness EHR systems (e.g., PointClickCare, Yardi EHR).
  • Optimize documentation workflows and reporting.
  • Ensure data integrity, standardization, and consistency across communities.
  • Data mapping
  • Support system upgrades, enhancements, and implementations.

 

Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop dashboards and reports tracking quality indicators, resident outcomes, incidents, and staffing trends.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights for executive, regional, and community leaders.
  • Identify trends and risks impacting care quality and operational performance.

 

Quality, Compliance & Risk

  • Support regulatory, licensing, and survey readiness related to Health & Wellness services.
  • Ensure documentation practices support compliant health records.

 

Training & Change Enablement

  • Develop standardized training materials (job aids, workflows, guides, presentations) for Health & Wellness systems and reporting.
  • Deliver training to clinical and operations teams via live and virtual education.
  • Support onboarding and reinforcement of documentation and system best practices.
  • Drive adoption of new tools, workflows, and reporting standards through change management.

 

Cross-Functional Partnership & Improvement

  • Act as liaison between Health & Wellness, Operations, IT, Risk, and Analytics teams.
  • Support leaders in using data to drive performance improvement.
  • Recommend system, workflow, reporting, and training enhancements.
  • Support enterprise initiatives including scorecards, dashboards, and quality improvement programs.

 

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in health informatics, healthcare analytics, or clinical systems support.
  • Experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, or post-acute healthcare preferred.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, assessments, and documentation standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop training materials and train clinical and/or operations teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with PointClickCare, Yardi, or similar senior living EHR platforms.
  • Experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
  • Experience supporting multi-community or multi-state operations.
  • Knowledge of multi-state regulatory requirements.
