Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Title Clerk to join our administrative team. This role is responsible for processing vehicle titles, managing paperwork for new and used vehicles, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, efficient, and capable of handling sensitive information with accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:

Process all vehicle title and registration paperwork

Verify that all title documents are accurate and complete

Submit documents to appropriate state agencies in a timely manner

Maintain knowledge of DMV regulations and titling procedures

Communicate with customers, lenders, and other departments to resolve title-related issues

Prepare and submit payoff checks and ensure lien releases

Maintain accurate filing systems and electronic records
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in a dealership title clerk role preferred

Strong knowledge of state title laws and DMV procedures

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealership DMS systems (CDK experience a plus)
