Parts Driver/Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Position Summary

Walker Automotive is seeking a dependable and organized individual to join our Wholesale Parts Department as a Parts Driver / Shipping & Receiving Clerk. This position is responsible for delivering automotive parts to customers while assisting with receiving, inspecting, organizing, and preparing parts for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver automotive parts to customers and other dealership locations in a timely and professional manner.
• Load and unload parts for daily deliveries.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against invoices and packing slips.
• Inspect shipments for damaged, missing, or incorrect parts.
• Package, label, and prepare parts for shipment or delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, shipments, and inventory.
• Stock and organize parts in designated storage areas.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory control.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and delivery vehicles.
• Communicate with department personnel regarding deliveries, returns, and discrepancies.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain professional customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move automotive parts.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous delivery, warehouse, or automotive parts experience preferred but not required.
