Krause Auto Group is seeking a driven, customer-focused, and results-oriented Finance & Insurance (F&I) Assistant to join our growing dealership team. This critical role is responsible for supporting the finance department by assisting with loan and lease paperwork, verifying customer information, and coordinating with banks or lenders to facilitate vehicle financing.  You will help ensure all documents are accurate and comply with legal requirements.  Additionally you may communicate with customers to explain financing options and process payments, making the cars buying process smoother and more efficient for both the dealership and the client.

What You'll Do

As an F&I Assistant, you'll play a key role in maximizing dealership processes while ensuring customers receive a transparent, compliant, and exceptional buying experience.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure all deals comply with federal, state, and local regulations

• Maintain proficiency in dealership finance procedures and compliance standards

• Prepare contracts, disclosures, and delivery paperwork accurately

• Ensure proper completion of title and registration documentation

• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Funding & Process Improvement

• Guarantee timely funding of all contracts and monitor outstanding funding issues

• Audit deals post-sale to ensure accuracy and identify opportunities for improvement

• Work closely with sales, accounting, and lender partners to resolve funding concerns

• Analyze performance metrics and implement best practices to improve profitability and efficiency

Customer Experience

• Deliver a professional, transparent, and customer-focused finance experience

• Build trust with customers through product knowledge and effective communication

• Educate customers on financing options and protection products

• Help create an exceptional dealership experience from purchase through delivery

Requirements

• Knowledge of title laws and vehicle registration processes

• Experience working with lenders and customers

• Ability to maintain compliance with all applicable regulations

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
