Viva Life Home Health & Home Care is looking for an experienced healthcare marketer with established relationships in the San Antonio healthcare community who wants the opportunity to do more than step into another marketing position.

We are building our home health and home care presence throughout San Antonio and surrounding communities, and we are looking for someone who wants to play a meaningful role in that growth.

This is an opportunity for an experienced marketer to bring the relationships, reputation, and knowledge they have already developed—and combine them with a growing organization where their ideas, connections, and results can make a visible difference.

We want someone who can help us create the Viva Life presence in San Antonio—not simply maintain one that already exists.

The Person We’re Looking For

You already understand that successful healthcare marketing isn’t about dropping off brochures.

It’s about relationships, credibility, consistency, follow-through, and trust.

You know the people you serve. You understand how referrals happen. You are comfortable walking into a physician’s office, hospital, rehabilitation facility, senior community, or case management department and building a genuine professional relationship.

Ideally, you also bring an established network or book of business within the San Antonio healthcare market and are ready to continue developing those relationships while opening new doors.

Just as importantly, we want someone who can genuinely believe in Viva Life and be proud to represent our organization.

What You’ll Help Build

As our Community Liaison / Healthcare Marketer, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop Viva Life’s presence and reputation throughout the San Antonio healthcare community.
• Introduce and grow both our skilled home health and private-pay home care services.
• Cultivate your established referral relationships while continually developing new ones.
• Build relationships with physicians, hospitals, case managers, discharge planners, rehabilitation facilities, assisted living and senior living communities, hospice organizations, and other healthcare partners.
• Identify opportunities, partnerships, community events, health fairs, in-services, and other avenues for growth.
• Educate referral partners about Viva Life’s services and what differentiates our approach to care.
• Maintain meaningful, consistent follow-through with referral partners—not simply one-time visits.
• Work directly with leadership on marketing strategy, opportunities, messaging, and growth initiatives.
• Communicate potential referrals and opportunities promptly so our clinical and operational teams can respond.
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation of visits, contacts, opportunities, referrals, and follow-up activity.
• Help us learn what the San Antonio market needs and continue shaping how Viva Life responds to it.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated healthcare marketing or business development experience in the San Antonio market.
• Established healthcare referral relationships and/or an active book of business.
• Experience in home health and home care is highly desirable.
• A track record of developing relationships that lead to appropriate referrals and sustainable census growth.
• Strong understanding of relationship-based healthcare marketing.
• Confidence communicating with physicians, case managers, discharge planners, administrators, clinicians, families, and community partners.
• The initiative to work independently in the field without needing to be micromanaged.
• Strong organization, communication, and follow-through.
• Willingness to be accountable for activity, opportunities, follow-up, and results.
• Comfort using a CRM and keeping leadership informed of relationship development and referral activity.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout San Antonio and surrounding areas.

Compensation will be structured based on experience, existing market relationships, the scope of the position, and demonstrated ability to contribute to growth.

In addition to base compensation, the position includes performance-based earning opportunities tied to measurable growth and successful starts of care.
