No Medical Experience Required – In-Home Caregiver

Visiting Angels provides a variety of non-medical services that allow us to work one-on-one with seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with compassion, dignity and care.

Do you enjoy helping people, having conversations, and making others feel comfortable and supported? We are seeking friendly, responsible, and compassionate Companion Caregivers to provide non-medical assistance to clients in their homes.

This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with people and want to make a difference in their community. Caregiving experience is helpful but may not be required for companionship-focused assignments.

What You’ll Do As a Visiting Angels caregiver, you’ll help clients with daily activities such as:

• Personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and toileting/incontinence care

• Mobility assistance and transfers

• Medication reminders

• Transportation to appointments and errands

• Meal preparation and light housekeeping

• Companionship and emotional support

No two days are the same, but every day is rewarding.

This is a non-medical position. It does not involve diagnosing conditions, administering skilled medical treatment, or performing other duties outside the caregiver's authorized scope.

• Enjoys spending time with others.
• Demonstrates kindness, patience, and understanding.
• Is dependable and communicates professionally.
• Can follow client-specific instructions.
• Is willing to complete required hiring checks and training.
• Has prior caregiving or customer service experience, preferred but not required.
