VIP Auto Repair is looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team.

What You'll Do

As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for properly diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles while ensuring all work meets our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose vehicle issues using modern diagnostic tools and equipment
• Properly repair and/or diagnose issues on a wide range of vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance services (brakes, suspension, engine work, etc.)
• Accurately document findings and recommended repairs
• Communicate clearly with the service advisor regarding vehicle diagnosis
• Follow shop procedures and quality control standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Stay up to date with training and advancements in automotive technology (Training available)

What We're Looking For

We are looking for technicians who are skilled, dependable, and committed to doing the job right the first time.

Requirements:

• State of Michigan certification and/or ASE certifications (required)
• Proven experience in automotive repair and diagnostics
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualities:

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Willingness to continue learning and improving skills
• Good time management and ability to stay productive
