Dealer Trader Driver

Job Summary:

The Dealer Trader Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of vehicles between dealerships, auctions, and other locations to support dealer trades and inventory needs. This role ensures vehicles are delivered in excellent condition, paperwork is handled accurately, and schedules are met to support sales operations and customer satisfaction. This is an On-Call Position. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safely transport vehicles to and from dealerships, auctions, customer locations, and other designated sites.
• Coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules with the Dealer Trader, sales team, and management
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after transport to document condition and report any damage
• Ensure all required paperwork (titles, trade agreements, delivery receipts, etc.) is accurate and properly handled
• Maintain communication with dealership staff regarding delivery status and any delays
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
• Assist with basic lot organization, vehicle staging, and inventory movement as needed
• Keep vehicles clean and presentable during transport
• Support additional errands or deliveries as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred
• Previous experience driving for a dealership, delivery service, or transportation role is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork accurately
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
