In Home Caregiver- 12 hr shift- Spearfish

Village Caregiving is seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver for a 12 Day shift position based in Spearfish, SD. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential support and care to clients in the comfort of their own homes, helping to improve their quality of life and maintain their independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Medication Reminders and monitor client health according to care plans.
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and the healthcare team.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred, but not required.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a 12 Day shift schedule consistently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
• Basic knowledge of safety and health guidelines related to home caregiving.
