Vermeer Midwest is looking for a reliable, hardworking Yard & Shop Attendant to support our Service Department operations. If you enjoy the chance to work outdoors occasionally, staying active, and taking pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Load and unload equipment and trucks for customers and internal departments.
• Wash and detail fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized yard and shop, including sweeping, trash removal, and grading gravel.
• Assist with snow removal and salting during winter months.
• Track and inventory equipment on the lot, ensuring everything is in its designated place.
• Refill shop fluid barrels, stock restroom and kitchen supplies, and empty garbage.
• Complete light maintenance tasks and assist technicians with equipment as needed.
• Run occasional errands for parts pick-up/delivery.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of experience around equipment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude a plus.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Dependable and self-motivated with a good attitude.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate power tools and equipment
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
