Part time Cashier

We are looking for one individual to join our cashier team. The right candidates will have strong communication skills and the ability to handle a flexible schedule. The day-to-day responsibilities will include cash handling, balancing the cash drawer, answering the dealership phone, greeting customers, and assisting the receptionist and Service BDC. 

 

• Excellent listening/communication skills, outgoing and positive personality
• Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility 
• Professional appearance, mature, and eager to improve on all aspects
• English; basic Spanish speaking skills (explaining payment and services, giving directions, counting money, and greeting customers)
• Basic computer skills: email and willing to learn our dealership system
• Cashier or bank teller experience a plus but not required
• Retail experience a plus but not required
• Able to stand, stoop, bend, type, file, carry reams of paper, and answer phones

• Cash, check and credit card handling, balance cashier drawer, make receipts.
• Keep all receipts and Repair Orders organized
• Answer dealership group phones, greet and assist customers
• Direct customers to the correct department, notify the appropriate person that a customer is waiting, and introduce the customer to the representative
• Transfer phone calls to correct departments, employee, take and deliver customers notes. 
• Work cooperatively with all departments 
• Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
• Type memos, correspondence, and other documents
• Assist the Service BDC and Receptionist
• Other duties as assigned
