Collision Body Shop Director

Vara Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Collision Center Director

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience as a Director of a collision facility
• ICAR platinum certified
• Professional communication skills with customers and team members
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
• Clean driving record with a valid non-suspended driver’s license
• Background check and drug screen
• Bilingual strongly recommended
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge and experience working with CCC1
• Must utilize dealership's DMS to track progress monthly

Responsibilities

• Punctual
• Meet with staff on a daily basis to track the progress of all jobs
• Meet with technicians and estimators daily to go over WIP
• Must have a well defined process that moves vehicles in through the shop in an efficient manner that keeps in line with cycle times
• Must have a weekly process with days designated for drop off and days designated for delivery
• Must possess good leadership skills and be willing to assist the team in order to achieve monthly goals
• Must maintain a professional manner at all times with your fellow peers and with guests
• Must maintain a clean and organized shop and office
• Must demonstrate neatness and organization with regards to all paperwork 
• Must exercise patience and understanding and maintain composure when faced with difficult situations
• Must set monthly goals and objectives in order to maintain a profitable department and cover monthly expenses
• Ensure guest satisfaction by coaching and resolving any concerns
• Recruit, interview and train new team members when necessary
