Community Relations Director
St Davids, PA
Full Time
Oak Hill at St. Davids
Vantage Point Retirement Living, the area’s premier senior living development and management company, is currently seeking a caring, motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient individual for the role of Director of Community Relations at our newest community, Oak Hill at St. Davids, located in Radnor Township—ideally positioned near the heart of Wayne’s business district. Site work is underway, with full vertical construction scheduled to begin by the end of the year. Sales efforts will launch this summer from a beautifully appointed on-site sales center. As the first member of the Oak Hill sales team, the Director of Community Relations will play a vital role in driving early interest and securing pre-opening commitments. As construction progresses and demand grows, the community relations team will expand to include at least two additional members to support the sales effort.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a compassionate, driven, and results-oriented professional who thrives in a fast paced, purpose-driven environment. They are a natural relationship builder with a deep understanding of the emotional and practical journey seniors and their families experience when selecting a community. They are equally comfortable connecting one-on-one with prospects as they are developing outreach strategies, building referral networks, and analyzing market dynamics. This individual must also be highly focused on achieving—and ideally exceeding—their performance goals. At a minimum, the Director of Community Relations is expected to meet the sales and occupancy targets established for them, along with other key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead follow-up, CRM engagement, event execution, and referral development. We offer a generous bonus structure that rewards performance at every level. Incentives begin with every transaction but significantly increase once established monthly and cumulative goals are met. High performance and goal attainment open the door for even greater earning potential, making this an exceptional opportunity for a driven sales professional who takes pride in their impact.
General day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Proactively engaging with all leads—whether generated through advertising, public relations, professional referrals, or personal outreach—and guiding them through the sales process with empathy, professionalism, and a consultative approach.
- Conducting weekly strategy and advisory meetings with the Executive Director to align on sales goals, community positioning, and resident experience.
- Collaborating with the community relations team and corporate leadership to develop and execute a dynamic quarterly marketing and outreach plan.
- Submitting timely and accurate weekly sales reports and participating in regular sales and strategy meetings with the corporate team.
- Utilizing CRM software to track and manage leads, maintain accurate prospect records, and monitor engagement throughout the sales funnel.
- Performing quarterly competitive market analyses, ranking local competitors, and reporting findings on a standardized competitor tracking form.
- Identifying emerging market trends, competitor positioning, and potential threats, and presenting thoughtful, data-informed recommendations to the Executive Director.
- Building and nurturing professional referral relationships through targeted outreach, consistent follow-up, and a structured cultivation plan.
- Representing Oak Hill at networking events, open houses, and community activities to increase visibility and build brand awareness.
- Assisting in the planning and execution of on-site events that support lead generation, prospect engagement, and community storytelling.
- Supporting the onboarding and mentorship of future community relations team members as the sales team grows.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of all levels of care—independent living, personal care/assisted living, and memory care—to effectively communicate offerings as new sales phases launch.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role and as part of the Oak Hill team, you will need to:
- Demonstrate a deep dedication to the seniors we serve, their families, and the Oak Hill team
- Be goal-oriented, consistently striving to meet—or exceed—established sales targets
