Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Body Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality vehicle collision repairs—from minor dents and cosmetic fixes to major structural, frame, and panel replacements—following strict OEM specifications and industry safety standards.

  • Consistent Monday through Friday schedule (No weekends!).
Key Responsibilities
  • Disassembly & Blueprinting: Thoroughly disassemble vehicles to assess hidden damage and document all required parts and operations.
  • Structural & Body Repair: Perform panel replacement, dent repair, welding (MIG/Squeeze Type Resistance), and frame/structural straightening using modern equipment.
  • OEM Compliance: Follow exact manufacturer repair procedures to ensure vehicle safety systems and structural integrity are fully restored.
  • Reassembly & Testing: Reassemble repaired vehicles, check mechanical/electrical functions, and prep for paint or final detailing.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with paint technicians, parts managers, and service advisors to meet promised delivery dates and maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores.
  • Shop Safety: Maintain a clean, organized work area and strictly adhere to all OSHA and shop safety protocols.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience: Minimum of [2–5+] years of professional experience as an auto body technician in a collision repair shop.
  • Certifications: I-CAR Platinum or Gold Class certification is highly preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Skills: Proficient in frame-measuring equipment, welding technologies, and modern vehicle construction materials (high-strength steel, aluminum, composites).
  • Tools: Must have your own set of professional-grade hand and pneumatic tools.
  • Work Ethic: Detail-oriented, reliable, safety-conscious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
  • License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
