Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join our team at Van Chevrolet/Cadillac to be a Sales Associate. This is a full-time, individual contributor role that will have a strong focus on sales in the retail auto industry. >> The ideal candidate will want to have a deep understanding and appreciation for the Subaru brand and will be responsible for promoting and selling Subaru vehicles to customers in the Greater Kansas City area.<<

Responsibilities:

As a Chevrolet/Cadillac Sales Associate, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and providing exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process. More specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

- Greeting and engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Conducting vehicle walk-around and test drives with customers
- Educating customers on the features and benefits of Subaru vehicles
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers to foster repeat business
- Managing and updating customer information in the dealership's CRM system
- Working collaboratively with the sales, finance, and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Keeping up-to-date with product knowledge, features, and options for all Subaru models
- Participating in vehicle training programs and staying current with industry trends and developments
- Attending sales meetings and conferences as required
- Assisting with vehicle inventory management and display

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in sales or a related field is an asset
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a retail or sales environment, preferably in the auto industry
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Proficiency with technology and CRM systems
- Dedication to continuously learning and improving sales techniques
