Position Overview

As a Service Advisor, you'll be the primary connection between our customers and the service department. You'll guide customers through the repair process, communicate recommendations clearly, coordinate with technicians, and ensure every customer receives an exceptional service experience from vehicle check-in through delivery.

You'll utilize modern service processes, including digital vehicle inspections, maintenance recommendations, and effective customer communication to build trust and help customers keep their vehicles operating safely and reliably.


Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally
  • Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document repair requests
  • Present maintenance and repair recommendations professionally and honestly
  • Open, build, and manage repair orders from write-up through vehicle delivery
  • Provide accurate estimates, maintenance recommendations, and expected completion times
  • Finalize and close repair orders accurately before vehicle delivery
  • Communicate with technicians throughout the repair process
  • Keep customers informed with timely repair status updates
  • Coordinate with the parts and service teams to ensure efficient workflow
  • Review completed repairs for accuracy and quality
  • Collect payment and review completed repairs with customers, when applicable
  • Assist with warranty documentation and approvals
  • Schedule future maintenance appointments and encourage customer retention
  • Follow up with customers after service visits to ensure satisfaction
  • Help maintain high customer satisfaction (CSI) and contribute to department performance goals

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive Service Advisor experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and repairs
  • Comfortable using computers and dealership management software
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Experience with Ford, CDJR, Xtime, Dealertrack, or other dealership management systems is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate with the right attitude.


Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Monday-Friday
  • Occasional Saturdays as business needs require
