Job Description
The HR & Operations Support Coordinator supports daily HR functions and assists with administrative operations throughout the dealership. This includes helping onboard new employees, tracking time and attendance, maintaining benefit files, and providing front-office support when needed.
This is a hands-on position that works closely with the Controller and department heads to ensure accuracy, compliance, and clear communication between HR and the broader team.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Onboarding & Culture

Assist with new hire setup: uniforms, email access, and system onboarding

Distribute employee handbooks and confirm acknowledgments

Coordinate training schedules and track completion for new hires

Help organize employee events and recognition programs
HR Compliance & Records

Maintain confidential and organized personnel files

Track PTO and leave balances in the payroll system

Support internal policy communication and compliance updates
Payroll Support

Collect timecard edits and PTO requests for processing

Verify documentation before submission to payroll vendor

Communicate updates to the Controller and ensure records are accurate
Benefits Administration

Provide employees with benefits enrollment forms and assist with questions

Support open enrollment scheduling and communication

Track new hire benefit eligibility and prepare required paperwork

Maintain benefits files and assist with claims or vendor communication
Employee & Office Support

Respond to employee inquiries through the HR inbox or in person

Provide administrative support for dealership operations as needed

Cover front desk or receptionist duties occasionally

Help with dealership communication, announcements, and staff engagement
Qualifications
-
1–3 years of HR, payroll, or administrative support experience preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills

High attention to detail with excellent time management

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using HR/payroll software

Discreet and professional with confidential information
