Accounts Receivable Clerk

Vaden Automotive is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our accounting team. This role is responsible for accurately processing and reconciling financial transactions across multiple departments and store locations, ensuring timely reporting and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

What You'll Do

• Verify all cash, check, and credit card transactions by reconciling each store's CCBR reports from Service and Parts departments

• Verify all vehicle down payments to ensure accuracy and proper posting to the correct customer and deal

• Prepare and make daily bank deposits and accurately record deposits on the daily bank deposit report to support cash flow monitoring

• Process weekly down payment reports and weekly cash reports

• Maintain and update Schedules 225 and 210

• File IRS Form 8300 for cash transactions exceeding $10,000, when required

• Process hold forms according to specified timelines and guidelines

• Assist managers with verifying down payments and resolving discrepancies

• Support the department lead as needed

• Post charge account customer checks daily, as applicable

• Process customer down payment refunds when necessary

• Review and verify checks related to credit memos issued by the Parts department

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in accounts receivable, accounting, or a related financial role preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles

• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office (Excel experience a plus)

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Automotive dealership experience is a plus, but not required

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
