Personal Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to provide exceptional support to clients in Romulus, MI. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a respectful and friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with mobility and transferring clients safely.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.
• Follow individualized care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care, home health, or similar role is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and with flexibility.
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Romulus, MI.
• Background check and drug screening clearance.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude toward clients.
