Registered Nurse

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with experience in home care and hospice to provide exceptional per-visit care to our patients in Michigan. The ideal candidate will deliver personalized nursing services in patients' homes, focusing on comfort, support, and quality of life during end-of-life care.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care during home visits, ensuring patient comfort and adherence to care plans.
• Assess patient health status and report changes to the interdisciplinary care team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Support patients and families with education, emotional support, and guidance related to hospice care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for each visit.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
• Willing to travel if needed 
• Proven experience in home health nursing and hospice care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and care teams.
• Ability to work independently during home visits and manage time efficiently.
• Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in Livonia, MI.
