In-Home Skilled Nurse

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and experienced In-Home Skilled Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Washtenaw, MI. The ideal candidate will deliver personalized healthcare services in patients' homes, ensuring comfort, safety, and effective treatment. This position offers competitive compensation and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. Interview will be in our office which is located in Livonia.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in patients’ homes in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform wound care as needed.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and medication management.
• Document clinical information accurately and timely in patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and changes in condition.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in the state of Michigan.
• Previous experience in home health nursing or a related clinical setting preferred.
• Familiar with Kinnser 
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Washtenaw County.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
