Home Health Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide quality in-home care to our clients in Rockwood, MI. In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
• Provide medication reminders and assist with basic health monitoring
• Perform light housekeeping duties including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Document care provided and report any changes in client’s condition

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related caregiving role is a plus
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Must pass background check and comply with company policies
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation preferred
