Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Support Workers in Pinckney, MI. This role involves providing essential support and care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Monitor and report any changes in client health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for clients.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety and confidentiality guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a personal support or caregiving role preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and relevant screenings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient nature.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation may be required.
