Home Attendant

Join University Home Care Inc as a dedicated Home Attendant providing compassionate, in-home support to clients in Woodhaven, MI. You will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life by assisting with daily living activities in a respectful and caring manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with mobility and transferring clients safely.
• Monitor and report any changes in client’s health or behavior to supervisory staff.
• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients and families.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care, personal care, or a related field is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with client care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor.
• Must pass background checks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
