Personal Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to provide supportive care and assistance to clients in Chelsea, MI. The ideal candidate will help improve the quality of life for individuals who need help with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support mobility and help clients move safely around their home or community.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Follow individualized care plans and instructions carefully.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to client care and safety.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Care Attendant or in a similar caregiving role is a plus.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Must be able to pass background checks and relevant health screenings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
