Home Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to provide in-home support and assistance to clients in Oxford, MI. This role involves helping clients with daily activities to enhance their quality of life and maintain their independence in a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Help clients with mobility and transferring safely.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and errands.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor and report any changes in client health or behavior to supervisory staff.
• Follow individualized care plans and ensure client safety at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation preferred.
