Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Assistants in Lake Angelus, MI. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to healthcare professionals
• Ensure clients’ safety and comfort during visits
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors or healthcare providers

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field is a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and compassionate with a strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass background checks
