Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care to our patients in Livonia, MI. The LPN will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure the well-being and comfort of patients in a home care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
• Monitor patient health and report changes to healthcare providers.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Follow infection control policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.
• Current and valid LPN license in the state of Michigan.
• Previous experience in home health care or a related nursing field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
