Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers in Southfield, MI. This role involves providing essential support and care to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Administer medication reminders and assist with mobility as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of care and services provided.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in direct care or a related field preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and compassionate with a genuine desire to help others.
• Must pass background check and have valid identification.
