Home Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Aides in Taylor, MI. As a Home Care Aide, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help clients with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate health professionals.
• Follow care plans and instructions from supervisors and healthcare providers.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field is an asset.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Taylor, MI.
• Ability to pass background checks and comply with company policies.
• Physical ability to perform required duties.
