Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Aides in Casco, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their daily living activities, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life. This position offers competitive compensation, with pay ranging from $14.00 to $19.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Administer medication reminders and assist with health monitoring as directed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the supervisor.
• Maintain client confidentiality and follow company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Care Aide or in a similar caregiving role is plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to undergo background checks.
• Flexible availability, including potential evenings, weekends, and holidays.
