Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide essential support to our clients in Pontiac, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and well-being in a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility and transfers within the home.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor client health as directed.
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Document care activities and report any changes in client condition to supervisors.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.

Requirements

• Prior experience in personal care preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members.
• Reliable transportation to and from job site in Pontiac, MI.
• Must pass background check.
