Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to provide high-quality care and support to clients in Rochester Hills, MI. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others by assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Support clients with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Monitor clients’ conditions and report any changes to healthcare professionals
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life
• Follow care plans and company policies to ensure client safety and well-being

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or similar role is an asset
• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required
• Must pass background checks and comply with health and safety regulations
