Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to provide high-quality support to clients in Westland, MI. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and improve their quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with medication reminders and light housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the appropriate supervisory staff.
• Ensure client safety and comfort at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of care and services provided.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus.
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Westland, MI.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
