Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide exceptional in-home care for clients in Plymouth, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities to promote independence and improve their quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Assist with medication reminders and monitor clients’ health status.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors.
• Follow care plans and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Prior experience in home care or a related field preferred is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Plymouth, MI.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to client care.
