Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support to our clients in Oxford, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Assist clients with mobility and transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to the supervising nurse or case manager.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and safety standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a personal care or care giving role plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and assist clients with mobility.
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
