Direct Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Aides. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients in their daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ condition or behavior to the supervisory staff.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Follow care plans and policies established by University Home Care Inc.

Requirements

• Prior experience in care giving or direct care is a plus but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job location in Lake Orion, MI.
• Must be able to pass a background checks.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and personal care tasks.
