Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to join our team in Westland, MI. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide essential support and care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with medication reminders and monitor clients’ health and wellbeing.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and trustworthy with a genuine passion for helping others.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation preferred.
